Firewood Guys are located in Columbus, Ohio. We are here to assist you with all your firewood burning needs, if it's for a night in the backyard toasting marshmallows with the family around a bonfire, a weekend camping trip or if you need to heat your home on those cold winter days & nights. The Firewood Guys are here to help. Our firewood is a mixture of hardwoods (oak, walnut, cherry, hickory, ash & hardwood maple). Each piece is cut to around 16" long. We understand some companies sell firewood using different measurements and terms. Wood can also be stacked using different methods, some can stack wood very tightly, but we stack it loosely , so air can flow and enhances drying.

We are a family owned & operated business. Our firewood is a mixture of hardwoods (oak, walnut, cherry, hickory, ash & hardwood maple). Each piece is cut to around 16" long.

We do offer assistance with loading but it's $10 for each 1/4 cord.

Did You Know
Just one cord of seasoned red oak, hickory or ash will provide more BTUs than 225 gallons of propane, 2.75 ccf (2,750 cf) of natural gas, or 133 gallons of #2 fuel oil. Compare your local price for each.
Seasoned Firewood- Is firewood that has been split and kilned dried or has been sitting out in the elements for 8-12 months or longer it should have <20% moisture content. It has a light ashy or grey color. It is going to burn faster & weigh less because it’s dried out. Preferred for smoking food & wood burning stove.
Unseasoned Firewood or Green wood - is freshly split wood that still has moisture inside. With a bright white look. The wood is still going to burn, just burn slower & create more smoke. It’s also not going to burn as hot as seasoned wood. It can produce more of the black creosote you see in your firepit or chimney. It will also make crackling or hissing sounds while burning. Some people may refer to this as fresh, green, or unburnable wood. It’s perfectly fine for outdoor burning such as a campfire or firepit. If burning indoors make sure everything is in good working order, and your flute is open.
